Fibre is the layer where headroom for the future is bought or lost. Fibre counts, fibre types, pathway sizes and termination methods are all decisions the building has to live with for a decade or more.

Zentrum designs fibre backbones as part of the wider structured cabling plant, sized for growth rather than the opening day.

Fibre pathways, riser sizes and equipment-room locations are among the least forgiving decisions in a building's infrastructure. Bringing fibre counts and pathway sizing into coordination early is where a decade of headroom is captured — or given up.
